City brought home several wins in 100 lap races for both Charlie and Tolbert. Saturday afternoon the weather cleared just in time to tag a second night of racing. Thanks to the hard work of Pat and his crew, the track was perfect even after a hurricane rain event. Charlie managed to pull out 2 heat wins but dropped to the back of the pack in the 3rd heat due to a steering linkage failure. Frustrated but not out the Tolbert's patched up the steering linkage with scratch parts and had it ready for the A-main with time to spare. Charlie started on the pole but had some early race errors that opened the door for the rest of the pack. Determined, he made his way back to the front by mid race and never looked back.
