Mr. Tolbert has just summarized the last 4 months of his wife driving the Nissan Leaf. BTL (before the Leaf) the family was spending $430 on average on fuel per month. This average was calculated over a 1 year period. For the past 4 months the family has saved on average $329 worth of fuel per month. FYI: We are not affiliated with Nissan in any way... but the current lease deal on a Leaf is $199 a month. The savings in fuel for the Tolbert Family more than pays for a new Leaf lease or purchase plan.
Happy Motoring!

This range test was most exciting. It was the longest range test ever conducted by the EV Team of 43 miles and required crossing over the Brushy Mountain Range twice. The best part of the trip was at the halfway point where we presented electric vehicle technology to the graduating 5th graders at Sugar Loaf Elementary School. The demonstration involved an activity for the students to better understand the principles of electric flow and how a motor works.
The range test was successful with approximately 25% more charge leftover. If you were on the first EV Team you might be wondering when we will attempt the trek to ASU...Stay Tuned. |
