Past EV Team member Seth McCoy took sometime out of schedule to answer a few questions for an interview.
Q.) So, what kind of job do you have right now? And, did EV lead you to get a job like this? A.) "I am a heavy equipment operator in the U.S. Army, and being on the EV team didn't really contribute much towards my decision." Q.) Do you use anything you learned from EV at your current job? A.) "I learned a bit from the EV team including, team work which is key, and leadership." Q.) Do you have any stories from EV that you would like to share? A.) "My most memorable moment while on the EV team is my first trip to N. Hampton, there was an S10 truck that had to have a substitute driver from another team, and while he was pulling up to start the range event one of the batteries exploded, which sounded like a cannon had went off." Q.) Do you have anything else you would like to share about your job, your time in EV, or anything else? A.) "I was on the team for 3 years, and learned a lot, and met a lot of great people. The most knowledgable person I met has to be Mr. Tolbert, he always allowed adequate time to accomplish the task at hand, he also didn't care to go in detail about anything. Mr. Tolbert was a huge influence on me and I would like to thank him on all he had taught me."
