NEAT 2013

     This past weekend the EV Team went to the NEAT Rally. At NEAT we are tested on range, autocross, acceleration, jeopardy, troubleshooting, and range. 

First place: Acceleration truck
Second place: Autocross truck and range truck 

     This event is not just tests, and races, it is also a place to get to know other students and people in the community that are into the same things. During this event we have lunch and dinner with students from all over, and we get to talk about what we are doing with our team, and different things like that. Also, even though this is a friendly competition, and if a school is in trouble we help them out. One example of this is where we were pushing our cars to the start line, and some team members from Topsail High helped us. 
     All in all this is a very fun event, and our next big event like this is the EV Challenge and we will be going to that the first weekend in April.
