Should be considered... If students like hands-on courses where they learn about technology, engineering and design. Fundamentally they will learn how to solve real world problems. Examples of projects may include but not limited to problems within transportation systems, medical devices, environmental concerns, renewable energy, electricity, agriculture, smart phone technology Examples of projects conducted in past classes (but not guaranteed) RC Cars, Robotics, Olympic Bobsled, Gravity Racers, Wind Turbines, Solar Cars, CO2 Cars, Rocket Stoves, Water Rockets, Smart Phone Tripod, 1st Level Scientific and Technical Visualization I Should be considered... If students want to learn at their own pace (similar to online course) on the computer everyday this class is for them. If students like hands-on courses that focus on skills needed for our current advanced manufacturing workforce. This will lead into WCC's CNC Machining courses. Examples of projects may include but not limited to 2D/3D CAD, 3D printing, robotics and flow into the next steps to manufacture machined solutions they create in class. For Example pictures review this blog for the past 5 years...;o)
